Recently, two things were shared about “One Tree Hill” through E! Online’s spoiler chat. The publication said that Skills is moving to Los Angeles and that a new man will come in between Brooke and Julian.
BROOKE IS PUSHED TO HER LIMIT — Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley’s (Bethany Joy Galeotti) careers bring about a tough decision for the family, and Julian (Austin Nichols) divulges a secret to Alex (guest star Jana Kramer) that leads to a confrontation with Brooke (Sophia Bush). Meanwhile, Clay (Robert Buckley) tries to resuscitate his career as an agent, and Jamie (Jackson Brundage) learns the truth about Skills’ (Antwon Tanner) new job. And a fresh-from-jail Millie (Lisa Goldstein) finds an unlikely supporter in Victoria (guest star Daphne Zuniga). Shantel VanSanten, Lee Norris and Paul Johannson also star.. According to cast member Lee Norris, who plays Mouth on the CW drama, someone is returning to Tree Hill and it’s someone from a distant past.
“In terms of juicy guest stars, they keep things pretty tight-lipped,” Norris told Movieweb.com in an interview. “They don’t really tell us that much, honestly, but I would just say… in fact, they’ll kill me if I say too much. I would say that there are certainly characters from the distant past that inevitably tend to turn up in the show. Given how our tagline used to be ‘A Tangled Web,’ I think you can definitely expect to see a face coming back that’s a blast from the past, that you wouldn’t expect, that’s really going to tie together a couple of the core characters in a really awkward way.”
A familiar face that would tie some loose ends in a really awkward way? Well, that should give One Tree Hill fans a lot to ponder about. For sure, many will toy with a possible Lucas or Peyton return, especially after Rachel suggested bringing Lucas on Dan’s show as a guest star because he isn’t doing anything else, but that might be wishful thinking considering the messy controversy attached to Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton’s exit.
It’s a domino effect on “One Tree Hill” next week. Nathan reaches the breaking point with Clay, causing a rift between Haley and Quinn. In the preview, Nathan confronts Clay about the only two things that he wants Clay to do, making sure he plays with the Bob Cat and staying away from Quinn.
Meanwhile, Brooke comes clean with Julian about her worries regarding his growing connection to Alex (guest star Jana Kramer). Skills pursues a new career in L.A. and Millicent’s drug problem worsens. “You are a Runner and I am My Father’s Son” airs on Monday, November 16 on The CW.
Lee Norris who plays Mouth recently talked about the possibility of old characters coming back for more screen time. “Given how our tagline used to be ‘A Tangled Web,’ I think you can definitely expect to see a face coming back that’s a blast from the past, that you wouldn’t expect, that’s really going to tie together a couple of the core characters in a really awkward way,” he said to Movieweb. There is no clue yet whether the old faces he meant are Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton.
The CW releases a clip of “One Tree Hill” where Brooke tells Haley that she might be with a child. While handing out Haley’s stage comeback outfit, Brooke comes clean with her fear that Julian may not take the baby news well. Haley thinks otherwise and suggests that Brooke get it checked to doctor.
The synopsis released by the network for the November 9 episode suggests that the news threatens Brooke and Julian’s fairytale romance. Besides, the situation will be much complex than it appears. The preview released on Monday, November 2 reveals that a crying Alex is pleading Julian to come for her.
The episode called “Now You Lift Your Eyes to the Sun” also deals with Haley returning to the stage and Dan Scott returning to Tree Hill much to the chagrin of Nathan, who is about to sign a new NBA contract with the help of his agent Clay. Meanwhile, Milicent is taking a thinner look which may be the result of her pills intake.
