Once upon a time, Dan Scott was the best player in the team and now he runs a car dealership. The present reason of pride is Nathan Scott, a handsome and popular athlete, who was determined by his proud dad (Dan Scott) who pushes him in harder more than his coach. Nathan is the star of the high school basketball team and belongs to a wealthy family. And another guy is Lucas Scott, a loner, who was deserted at birth with his mother, only playing basketball on a public ground with street-kids. Lucas always tries to keep a distance from Nathan. Both boys were the sons of Dan Scott, who had long ago abandoned both Lucas and his mother.A twist of fate occurs and Lucas got a chance to prove his ability, when an unexpected incident forces the coach to replace debarred players. After being accepted, Lucas proves himself and develops a long run relationship with his half-brother Nathan. Both guys not compete only for the control of the court, but also for the heart of Nathan’s girlfriend. Together, these teenagers move through the everyday aspects of their personal and social lives as they face the cruelties of the high school world. One Tree Hill also throws light on the different aspects of different children where one enjoys the love & attention of his father and other lives a life full of sorrows with his single parent.
